National Shop Stewards Network bulletin says:
The suspension of two of the Wilmington waste recycling workers, who are members of Unison after they returned to work following a successful first week on strike is a clear attempt to intimidate the workers into cancelling future strike action. It has failed. The workers are more determined than ever to defeat the multi-national FCC Company, which despite making millions in profits last year, is not prepared to pay its workers sick pay. The Wilmington workers are planning to take a further two weeks strike action starting from the 29th March.
