County Press

Tuesday, December 8, 2015

A NEW initiative aimed at carers, relatives and friends of people living with dementia has been launched on the Isle of Wight.

‘Dementia Conversations’ tackles the difficult issues associated with dementia and end of life care.

All are welcome to attend the meetings, to share their experiences and discuss the challenges they face.

Next year’s meetings will be held at St James Church, East Cowes.

Topics will include activity and motivation, on January 28, good communication, on February 23, and how relationships change, on March 15.

Dementia Conversations is co-chaired by Dementia Pathfinders, Barbara Stephens and the Rev Veronica Brown. To register an interest in attending, please contact info@dementiapathfinders.org or call 07774 935905.
